Outdoor Experience for High School
Are you are looking for engaging, hands-on, and collaborative outdoor programs for your high school students that will leave a lasting impact? Then sign your students up for Fall in the Field 2020. This year, we will be offering programs for high school students at the Rogue River Preserve!

About the Rogue River Preserve
New Location! Located along the banks of the Rogue River in Jackson County, the Rogue River Preserve is a historic property spanning 2 miles of riverbank and containing diverse habitats such as oak savanna, vernal pools, meadows, oak-pine woodlands, and chaparral. The Rogue River Preserve is home to a wide array of wildlife, including elk, fox, deer, fish, birds, and hundreds of plant species! This wealth of biodiversity makes the Rogue River Preserve a wonderful outdoor classroom.
Here, students will participate in citizen science and habitat restoration efforts through invasive plant pulling, conducting wildlife surveys, and testing water quality. All programs are aligned to Oregon education standards and include service learning components. Every visit to the Rogue River Preserve reveals something new. What will your students discover?
