Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument
Fall in the Field works closely with the BLM to provide day programs in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. Located at the convergence of three distinct mountain ranges, the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument was established to protect its remarkable biodiversity and cultural history. This year, day programs will be offered at two locations within the monument.

Hobart Bluf
At 5,502 ft. elevation, Hobart Bluff provides sweeping views within Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument! The hike to Hobart Bluff provides excellent access to endemic rosaceous chaparral, wind-swept mountain mahogany and juniper outcrops, and views of Mount Ashland, Pilot Rock, and Mount Shasta on clear days. The rare Mardon Skipper can be found here as well – this is one of just three ecosystems in the world where this butterfly lives.
Green Springs Mtn. Loop
This scenic hike traverses multiple distinct microhabitats, a great way to showcase the biodiversity of the Monument. A portion of this trail offers stunning panoramic views of the Rogue Valley.
